Depending on what time you arrive you might want to do a little exploring – The Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain.

Ask your hotel concierge for a good authentic place to have dinner.

Day 2 – Rome

Take a guided tour of the Vatican City - Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica.

In the afternoon take a tour of the Coliseum and the Roman Forum.

Finish the day with Piazza Navona; it is full of Baroque architecture.

Day 3 – Board the Train for Florence – (about 1.5 hours)

Once you have stored your luggage at the hotel (you will not be able to check in yet), take a walking tour of Florence.  See some of the top attractions, Michelangelo’s “David” in the Accademia Gallery, House of Medici, Duomo, and hear the fascinating origins of the Gates of Paradise.

For the evening, check into your hotel and do some shopping.
