MY STORY
A little over 22 years ago I started working in a brick and mortar travel agency as the bookkeeper as something to do while my children were in school. After listening to everyone on the phone, (because back in the day we did not book travel packages on the internet); what they were doing sounded like fun. So I began to learn the ropes of booking travel and discovering fabulous new places to travel. I worked in this office for about 10 years before deciding to venture out on my own and start Candyland Vacations.
While I enjoy helping you plan any getaway, over the years I have developed a passion for Romantic Getaways. I love helping clients plan a honeymoon, a trip to reconnect or just a fabulous getaway with their significant other. I have enjoyed taking many of these same style vacations with my husband so that I have first hand knowledge of these locations. Most recently we traveled to Aruba but our favorite getaway location is Negril, Jamaica. My husband and I have enjoyed many cruises to island hop in the Caribbean which is a great way to see many locations and still have that romantic get away experience. During this journey I also started working with couples planning their destination weddings. I love helping couples findperfect location to begin their lives together.
I also enjoy putting together family vacations, for families of all ages. These can be for one family, or a multi generational group. Our lives are so busy, planning a vacation that a family can go relax and have fun together is an equal passion of mine. Our family has enjoyed many European vacations to see the rolling green of Ireland, the wine country in Barcelona and experiencing high tea in London.

Once you have booked your trip, I am there for you until you return. Before you leave, I contact the hotel or resort to make sure your reservations are all in order. After you return, I want to hear all the details of your trip so that I can continue to provide clients with the best information about each destination.
